The work behind
Sawberry.
Sawberry is an artist studio and evolving archive: a place for images that are made slowly, changed often, and allowed to remain a little unresolved.
Based in Killeagh, East Cork, the work moves between drawing, painting, digital transformation, photography, and collage. Each route leaves a trace; the finished image carries more than one way of seeing.

The studio
An image can begin anywhere.
Some works begin with a sketch, a found image, a place, or a fragment from a painting. Others are taken apart and rebuilt through different tools until they find their own visual language. Sawberry holds these changing forms together without trying to make them all the same.
The mark and signature are a quiet way back to the source: a reminder that each work belongs to a continuing practice, made from East Cork and in conversation with a wider world.
